Request: Playwright Chromium System Dependencies for Python Servers

Hi! I'm hosting a Python Discord bot on Wispbyte using Playwright and Chromium. Chromium downloads successfully, but fails to launch because libnspr4.so is missing. Running playwright install with deps chromium also fails when attempting to switch to root. Could Wispbyte add the required Chromium system dependencies to the Python Docker image, or provide a supported way to install them? I also need to run Chromium with headless=False, potentially using Xvfb. Thanks!

Chromium’s browser download succeeded, but its Linux system libraries (including ) are missing from the Python image. Wispbyte containers don’t run as root, so can’t install them; there isn’t a supported way to add OS packages from inside your server. also needs a display server such as Xvfb, which would require system level support too. For now, use headless mode if your workload allows it. Adding Chromium dependencies or Xvfb would need to be supported by the platform image—share the request in the Discord suggestions channel.
