This is a permissions issue in the startup/install step, not a reason to change node permissions. 1. Add your packages to or Startup → Additional Python packages , then save and restart. 2. If you edited the startup command, choose Reset to Default and restart; a custom command can skip Wispbyte’s normal install step. 3. If it still fails, post the node name and the console output around the error (remove any secrets). See the Startup Settings guide.
Hi, my Python bot still cannot start because pip cannot write anywhere in the container. The error is now: Defaulting to user installation because normal site packages is not writeable ERROR: Could not install packages due to an OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/home/container/.local' The startup command no longer uses prefix .local, but pip's automatic fallback to user installation also fails because /home/container itself is not writable by the container user. The bot then crashes with ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'discord'. This looks like the home directory ownership/permissions are broken on this node. Could you please check and fix the permissions of /home/container so the container user can write there? Node name: FREE EU RO 09 Console output: [22:45:31] ERROR: Could not install packages due to an OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/home/container/.local' [22:45:33] ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'discord'
