EACCES PROBLEM

Posted by user_ulg0v3 in bugs.

Hello! My Node.js server keeps crashing on startup. npm returns this error: EACCES: permission denied, mkdir '/home/container/node modules' I already tried changing the npm cache to /tmp/npm cache, but the error persists. Please check the write permissions for my server's /home/container directory. Thank you!

This is a write permission error in the server container; changing npm’s cache won’t fix access to . 1. In Startup , click Reset to Default and save, so the normal install step runs. 2. In Files , delete and if they exist, then restart. 3. If it still fails, reply with the node name and the console output around the error. Startup settings guide
