discord bot
Posted by plaza in discord-bots.
Hello, My Discord bot server hosted on Wispbyte is currently not working because Discord has blocked this node's IP address (I am seeing the "Discord has blocked this node's IP" warning on my panel). Since this is a shared node IP issue caused by the host environment, the bot cannot connect to the Discord API at all. Could you please help me change my node/IP or resolve this restriction? Thank you for your help.

That warning means Discord has temporarily rate limited the shared outbound IP for your free node. It isn’t a ban on your bot or something you can fix in its code; the screenshot shows about 14 hours remaining. 1. Wait for the timer to expire, then try starting the bot once. 2. Don’t keep restarting while the limit is active; repeated attempts can prolong it. 3. Keep to one Discord bot per server to help avoid future limits. Free servers can’t be moved to another node or given a different IP. More details: https://wispbyte.com/kb/discord rate limits
