How to delete or deactivate xyz.env?

Can't delete, rename or deactivate the files like xyz.env. And i need an empty root for clone my repro. Please give me a hint.

If you need to delete a env file you can always copy its contents to a notepad or text editor you have on your device. Delete the file, Clone the Repo then put the file and its contents back in

No thats not my problem. I CANT delete it. When i delete, rename or whatever it simply appears again. So i have no chance to clone my repro, because my root contains always the "copy.env"
