EP-Scanner GitHub clone fails — Permission denied

Posted by emzy in bugs.

Hello, I need help with my EP Scanner free server. Server support tag: 4f162c49 My private GitHub repository is emzyprime/Memecoin telegram scanner, branch main. When I try to clone it through the Wispbyte GitHub integration, I get: /home/container/.git: Permission denied My Files directory is still empty. Please help me fix the permissions so I can install and run my Python Telegram scanner. Thank you.

This looks like a permissions issue with the server’s directory, not a Python dependency problem. A hidden folder can exist even when the Files page looks empty. 1. In Files , show hidden files if that option is available. If is there, delete that folder and try Clone again. 2. Since the repository is private, check that the GitHub integration is authorized to access it and that the branch is . Don’t post a GitHub token here. 3. If the error persists or isn’t visible, share the node name and the full clone error output (with secrets removed) so the cause can be narrowed down. GitHub Integration guide

Thanks for the guidance. I checked the Files page at /home/container. It shows “No files available,” and there is no visible hidden files option or upload control. Node: FREE EU RO 08 Server: EP Scanner Error: /home/container/.git: Permission denied My GitHub repository and main branch are saved in the integration settings, but cloning fails. Could a Wispbyte administrator check or reset the container directory permissions so I can install my scanner? I have not shared my GitHub token.
