IP adress or different node

Hello, since a few days my Discord bot (discord.js v14) gets HTTP 429 responses from Cloudflare when calling the Discord API from my node. The response is text/plain, server: cloudflare, has no x ratelimit headers, and retry after was 2219 s earlier and is now 3400 s. The gateway connection works (the bot receives commands), but replying to interactions fails. My bot only sends a couple of requests per command, so I suspect the IP shared by my node is temporarily blocked, maybe because of another bot on the same node. Has anyone seen this recently? Is it possible to move my server to another node or get a different IP? Node: FREE UE RO 01, Node.js v19.9.0.

Yes—this matches a Cloudflare/Discord rate limit on the node’s shared outbound IP, not a per command limit in your bot. The gateway can remain connected while REST calls such as interaction replies fail. 1. Wait for the block to clear; don’t repeatedly restart or retry requests, as that can prolong it. 2. Keep to one bot per server and avoid any retry loop that sends repeated requests. 3. Free servers can’t be moved to another node or given a different IP. If this continues beyond a day, ask in the Wispbyte Discord. Premium users can open a support ticket. More details: Discord rate limits on Wispbyte.
