Cloudflare rate limited

Posted by user_x3frv9 in general.

Hello Wispbyte Support Team, I'm experiencing an issue with my Discord bot hosted on Wispbyte. Whenever my bot tries to connect to Discord, it receives the following error: The error occurs during the Discord login process, causing the bot to crash immediately afterward. I have already waited for more than 4 hours without attempting to restart the server, but the issue is still happening. Could you please investigate whether my server's outbound IP address has been rate limited or blocked by Cloudflare? If possible, I would like to request an outbound IP change or migration to another node with a different IP address. Thank you for your time and assistance!

This is likely a Cloudflare rate limit on the shared outbound IP for your free node, not a bot code error. A 1015 block can last up to about 24 hours, even if you’ve already waited several hours. 1. Leave the server stopped for now; repeated login attempts can extend the block. 2. Check that your token is valid, and make sure the server runs only one bot. 3. Wait for the block to clear. Free servers can’t be moved to another node or given a different IP. More details: https://wispbyte.com/kb/discord rate limits
