Unable to assign a port to my PostgreSQL Database

Posted by postgresql-catweb1 in general.

I'm trying to create a free PostgreSQL server on Wispbyte, but every attempt fails with the following error: Could not assign a port. Please try again in a moment. I've tried refreshing the page and creating the server again, but the error persists. The selected runtime is PostgreSQL, and my account shows 0/1 free servers used. Could you please check whether there is an issue with port allocation or availability on the free hosting nodes? I've attached a screenshot of the error. Thanks in advance! Please try again later." after I created a Redis server instead

This looks like a port allocation/provisioning failure, not your 0/1 server quota. The status page has no matching incident posted. 1. Wait a few minutes, reload the client, and try once more; repeated creation attempts may leave extra servers behind. 2. Since the Redis server was created but changing its technology failed, don’t keep retrying the technology change. If it persists, post the node name and server ID (Settings → Server information), plus the exact error and where you tried to change it. Don’t include any tokens. 3. A free PostgreSQL runtime is a server container, not a managed database service; managed databases are premium only. See Server Won’t Start or Connect.
