Discord/Cloudflare 1015 Rate Limit – Server Offline for 30+ Hours
Posted by user_3ar9d3 in general.
Hi Wispbyte community, I’m having an issue with my Discord bot where it has been unable to connect to Discord for 30+ hours. When the bot tries to connect, Discord returns HTTP 429 with a Cloudflare Error 1015 page. The response says: Error 1015 You are being rate limited The owner of this website (discord.com) has banned you temporarily from accessing this website. It also says: “The owner of this website (discord.com) has banned you temporarily from accessing this website.” The Cloudflare response identifies the affected IP as 78.154.103.37. I understand that Discord rate limits can happen, but I’ve already waited well over 24 hours and the server is still unable to connect to Discord. I’m wondering if this could be an issue with the Wispbyte node/shared IP, rather than my bot itself. Could someone please let me know: Is this IP currently being rate limited by Discord/Cloudflare? Is the IP shared with other Wispbyte users? Is it possible to move the server to another IP/node? Is there anything I need to do on my side? Has anyone else experienced a Discord Cloudflare 1015 lasting this long on Wispbyte? The Wispbyte server itself starts normally; the problem occurs specifically when connecting to Discord. Thanks for any help!
