Rate limit question

Posted by restobot in general.

Hi, my free server is on node FREE EU RO 39. The Discord node IP rate limit has lasted over 24 hours, and the panel timer increased from about 481 minutes to 734 minutes. My server is offline and runs only one bot. I know free servers cannot be moved, but please check whether another bot on this node is restart looping or continuing to generate invalid Discord requests.

The timer can increase when Discord still sees the shared node IP as blocked; it doesn’t mean your bot caused the limit. Other servers on the node share that IP, so running one bot on yours doesn’t rule out traffic from another server. Since it’s lasted over 24 hours, report the node name and the timer changes in the Wispbyte Discord so staff can check for continued abuse. Meanwhile, avoid repeated restarts—they add more login attempts—and wait for Discord’s block to clear. Discord rate limit guidance
